Is the spline on the front of the crankshaft meant for connecting to an additional hydraulic pump or something else? Anyone know the spline specifications on Kubota B7100 with 3 cylinder diesel (I think it's a Yanmar)?

Many older farm tractors did have front takeoffs used mostly for front pumps. There's a good chance the shaft is intended for a front pump and maybe somebody knows the specs. If you're looking to mount something, take off shafts are fairly standard. Japanese and N.A. manufacturers tended to use the same ones and not too many different types are around. There's a good chance a front pump that would mount could be found. ....
